Leopard

From quiet genius to coveted operative—the transformation begins.

Calvin Johnson Jr., son of the U.S. Attorney General, has always lived in the shadows. A brilliant recluse with a gift for hacking, he believed his intellect would keep him out of trouble, not pull him into a global conspiracy. But when a trip abroad turns into a frantic escape from a covert organization, Calvin and his friends find themselves at the center of a plot to topple the U.S. government by using governmental officials children as leverage.

To save his friends, his father, and his country, Calvin must shed his unassuming life and unleash a darker side—a persona known only as Leopard.

Meanwhile, Leslie Carrington, a genius cyber-security analyst, is on a mission of her own: to avenge her parents’ murder by tracking down a malicious code. She sees Calvin as a rival, an obstacle in her path, but when their worlds collide in a tense standoff, they form an uneasy alliance against a shared enemy.

As sparks fly and suspicions flare, their professional partnership deepens into something more. Leslie learns to trust again, and Calvin uncovers a truth that shatters his tranquil existence. They must stop a cyber-attack that threatens to plunge the world into chaos, all while navigating a high-stakes game of passion, betrayal, and intrigue.

Can they learn that the greatest weapon isn’t brute force, but a mind sharp enough to uncover the truth and a love strong enough to fight for it?

Leopard was amazing!! A true page turner! The book showed the complexity of Calvin wrapped in suspense and romance. Iris drew you into the story and did not let you go until the last page. I laughed, cried, and celebrated as I read the love story of Calvin and Leslie.A recommend must read!!

Finished Leopard last night. What a Read! This book gave me feelings of love, closeness, brotherly/sisterly love, intimacy and Power! It was amazing how Iris wove that story to include some of our favorites from other stories. She gave Wade and Leslie blood ties which I’m sure they will embrace. Now for Lion, oh I can see an interesting future on the horizon. This was an awesome book that I laughed, cried and hated to see end. Oh well time for a reread to see what I missed!

I have been enjoying the Next Generation series. I read the first two twice but you took Calvin’s story to the next level. Loved it just read it too fast. I could not put it down.

I took my time reading Leopard and I must say I’m glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all of Calvin. I was so impressed with his character. He was truly an all around man. I loved that you partnered him with such an incredible young woman in Leslie Carrington. This book truly had me chomping at the bit but also not wanting it to end. The things we found out definitely set the scene for all that’s next. Can’t wait for JC’s, S.I.B.’S books and all that’s next. Thank you Iris Bolling.

Leopard was phenomenal. It tapped into ever emotion that a person could experience and left no crumbs on the plate. You have an outstanding alpha male who owned his brilliance, good looks, devotion to family, and desire to right wrongs. You also have a beautiful brilliant black woman who embraced who she was and allowed her intelligence to shine through. Their romance was funny, sexy and a little bit dangerous. If you are looking for an amazing book to read please pick up Leopard.

Lord, where do I begin? Watching the next generation of high achieving men grow up and into their own Calvin Jr., was always the laid back, developer of next level devices that makes the work each of them are now committed to on the level of Adam Lassiter. Just like his father Calvin Sr., Junior stays mostly in the background however, this assignment is destined to bring him into the spotlight and propel him into his future destiny. Calvin Jr., never knew this assignment would also put him in direct contact with the woman (Leslie), who will become a part of his task and his heart. This story had so much happening in it, and all of it complements the main story plus all the main characters. We get to see how the sons who swore lifelong friendship as children like their dads, circle and protect each other. Calvin Sr., came out of his laid back persona and fulfilled what has been brewing for thirty years when he put Brian on his behind! Shocked me! Not the do it by the book Calvin Sr? Iris, there is so much excellence occurring in this story and I loved it all. I loved the next generation logo, how once each of these young men completed their assigned tasks, they were led to their true purpose never neglecting Lion’s future endeavors and how at each turn their parents were engaged and supportive of them. The love story between Calvin Jr. and Leslie showed what great compatibility looks like. Further Leslie challenged Calvin Jr., to develop his real purpose while declaring her love for him. Their love began fast and excel stated as the story progressed. Whew, I am overwhelmed by all of the goodness stored between the pages of Leopard, thoroughly glad for the wait to see what would happen to him since Panther and Jaguar showed us their prowess. I have to tell you I am here for it all! Leopard is a number one Best Seller in my book and Iris, I want to thank you for sharing that magnificent storytelling ability with us.

    Wow!!! Just WOW!!
Iris Bolling has a way with words! She answered questions I didn’t know I had. The way she weaves her stories is simply amazing! I don’t know how, I don’t know why but here stories are so relevant to what’s happening in our world today and they just keep going. I really enjoyed Leopard and Leslie. I can’t say all I want to without giving things away but this is a page turner and I can’t wait for the next one!!!
