FBI Agent Elliott Thompson has been given an assignment he never anticipated would be so challenging: protecting Calley Rippatoe, a sensationally talented cellist who captivates every man she meets. Calley’s allure isn’t just her beauty or her ability to play the cello with unmatched passion; it’s her spirit that makes her a magnet for both admiration and danger. Then there is the cello, Emilia. No, it’s not just an instrument—it’s her promise to her late great-grandfather, and nothing will make her part with Emilia, not even the threat to her life.
Elliott, a rookie agent, is thrown into the deep end with the task of protecting Calley, a woman who tests his patience and professionalism at every turn. His frustration with her is obvious, yet underneath it all, he understands the need to shield her from the mysterious threats closing in on them. As he uncovers the depth of the danger she faces, Elliott decides to take her to the one place he believes she will be safe—a location so secret that not even the most determined adversary could find them. The moment they arrive, Elliott is thrown into a whirlwind of unsuspecting drama that only he can resolve.
Elliott and Calley navigate their tumultuous relationship while piecing together the mystery of who wants her dead and why. With every revelation, Elliott finds his feelings for Calley deepening, complicating his duty as an agent and status as a single man, which he is not ready to relinquish. As danger looms and emotions run high, Elliott and Calley discover that sometimes, the most dangerous threats come not from the outside world…but from within their own hearts.
The only thing more dangerous than the threats around them is the chemistry between them.

I just finished reading Jaguar before going to bed and I couldn’t put it down. My only complaint was I read it to fast. It was everything I expected it to be and more. I love the chemistry between Elliott and Calley. She had the fiestiness of Phire. I loved his grandmother, mother and Berstrom. Everything body and everything was good. I always enjoy seeing old faces again. Iris you did it again. Thank you

I loved Jaguar. I really enjoyed meeting Calley and seeing Elliott to grow into his own man. This book has some of everything. I really liked that not only did Elliott step up for his people but we found out what was really going on with Calley’s family dynamics. I especially enjoyed seeing so many of other characters from other book. I also enjoyed seeing things I knew what come up later. Wonderful job Iris.

In the world of romantic suspense, Iris Bolling captures the balance between heat and heart. Her latest release, Jaguar, is a slow-burning, emotionally rich storyline that wraps readers in a world of soul-searching music, FBI-level danger, and an unforgettable love story.
At the core of the story is FBI Agent Elliott Thompson, a man with a reputation as precise as his instincts. He’s called in to protect Calley Rippatoe, a gifted cellist whose musical brilliance is matched by the quiet power she carries offstage. From the moment their paths cross, there’s a chemistry that simmers beneath every word, every glance—and it only intensifies as the stakes rise.
The author entwines music as more than just a backdrop. Calley’s cello—affectionately named Emilia—isn’t simply an instrument; she’s a vessel of emotion, a shield, and a bridge between pain and healing.
In Jaguar, you will experience a heartfelt story of healing and trust, with high-stakes action and political intrigue. Literary geeks who are fans of romantic suspense and seek characters with depth, a plot with impact, and a love story that resonates, this one is for you!!
You can thank me later…

The story of Jaguars and Calley was excellent. Love seeing some of the old character. Happy that Elliott came home to help his people. Shame that his community living the way they did
because of the haves and haven’t. He did right by his community but putting
Council , school and fire department.
Calley was and a fighter. She just wanted her family to be there for. So happy she meet her father and understand she has family.
Was happy when Elliott stop fighting his attraction to Calley. I enjoy the books some much. I just love the “kittens”. Can’t wait for the next story.

Having finished Jaguar, I hated to see it end. A fast paced thriller that endeared me to the adult known as Elliott(Caramel Lover), and the lovey Callie. A great couple whose chemistry was immediate and spring from the pages. The plot left you turning pages to see what happens next.
It was good to see how the fellows remain true to their truce made as children. It’s always great to see Phire , Joshua and other characters from the series make appearances. The Tate brothers were a great addition that I would like to see more of. Elliott and Calley brought that fire, she’s fiesty, and he’s full of himself!(A great combination). Family dynamics played a huge role in this book on both Elliott and Calley’s side. Legacy, love, trust, ruthlessness, and heartbreak all make an appearance, love wins in the end!
This series is all I thought it would be and more!

Jaguar was an excellent read. I absolutely loved the spirit of Calley intertwined with the seriousness of Elliott. The caramel lover fought hard, but he couldn’t resist the power of the one woman who could make him leave his philandering ways and literally bring him to his knees. Their love story embodied a love that was pure and everlasting. Ms Bolling you are an excellent writer and your storylines are the work of a brilliant mind. Keep writing and I will definitely keep buying.

Loved Elliott’s story, it had me from the first chapter. Callie’s back story had me so emotional – shows what family is all about in both aspects. I felt like I was a part of the story as I read it, wanting to help Elliott with his tasks. I loved seeing other characters to jump in when and where needed. This story definitely did not disappoint. Can’t wait to order the paperback for my shelf and to read again, I need to feel all of Elliott!!!!
